AVAILABLE WORLDWIDE

Il Borro Wedding and Elopement Photography Service.

Are you searching for a Wedding or Event photographer in Il Borro?

I have been covering over 170 Weddings since July 2014, I can say that I am full of advice and help for your big day.

My couples are similar and so different at the same time. I would say that they have certain similar characteristics, they prefer to spend time with their families and friends rather than spending an hour taking the couple photos, they are usually shy, they don’t feel at ease to be the center of the attention, they have a certain knowledge about art, sometimes photography and painting.

Do you want to have an intimate wedding in Il Borro that reflect your journey as a couple, your passions, and your spirit of adventure?

This is elopement photography for couples who want to ignore tradition and get married in a way that feels authentic to them. As a photographer, my purpose is to discreetly capture the story of your day in an honest and heartfelt way, without posing or intruding. I will record every aspect, from the raw emotions and poignant moments as they unfold, to the details you won’t want to forget.

I care deeply about creating meaningful connections with every couple who invites me to be a part of their journey. My approach is to innovate, not to conform to conventions. Your elopement experience should be as personal, genuine, and unique as you are.

Emotional Photographer documenting emotional Weddings.

Since July 2014, I document your intimate wedding, your Minimony, Sequel Wedding, Micro wedding or Adventurous Elopement, proposal, and engagement and I have seen a lot of love stories, full of joy and emotions. It has a lot of different names but only the story matters. I am moved by telling the story of your day in the most natural and genuine way possible. No need to spend one hour behind the church with me to take the couple photographs, I will always value to let you spend time with family and friends. This is your day, not mine.

Most of my couples define themselves as shy in front of the camera, I believe simply they don’t know how easy it is to spend a few simple moments with their partner in front of my camera. I will follow you from getting ready to the dance floor in the most natural way possible. To deliver a poetic and unique vision of the most important day of your life.
I have a lot of experience and expertise in traveling around Europe mostly. For the last 6 years, I have covered most of my weddings abroad and overseas.

A bit of History about Il Borro, Tuscany.

The village is located 20 km from Arezzo on the slopes of the Pratomagno, crossed by an ancient Roman road, the Via Cassia. It takes its name from the castle which is located at an altitude of 275 m; the town is located at the top of an arrow, a typical element of the Valdarno plateau.

The origins of the inhabited center are not sufficiently documented, but it is likely that a castle was already built here at the beginning of the medieval period, and that it was subsequently purchased in the 13th century by the Milanese nobleman Borro Borri , who here he settled there and was podestà of Arezzo from 1254 to 1256. Borro Borri is in fact the ancestor of the Tuscan family of Borri, who ruled these lands and indicated in the following centuries as "del Borro" or "dal Borro" from this same locality. Borro Castle came under the jurisdiction of the Lordship of Florence in 1344, along with the communities of Campogialli and Traiana, and is recalled in a privilege granted by Emperor Charles IV to the town of Arezzo where Borro Castle is reported as the last limit of the territorial district of Arezzo on the side of Valdarno. The importance of Borro Castle in the 14th century is attested by the fact that the neighboring parish church of San Giustino began to be called "San Giustino al Borro" and therefore also the village that developed around it , today called San Giustino Valdarno. In the 16th century, the country experienced a demographic and agricultural increase thanks to the interest of the politician and leader Alessandro del Borro. After the fall of the Del Borro family, the village passed first to the Medici, then to the Torriani of Milan, to the Hohenlohe Waldemburg and from 1904 to Savoy.

In 1833, the hamlet had 369 inhabitants, while in 1931 the population was 249 inhabitants. After the Second World War, a process of depopulation began for Borro so that in 1981 there were only 36 inhabitants. In 1993, the Borro estate, which roughly coincides with the old core of the city, was purchased by Ferruccio Ferragamo, who transformed it into a hotel-village.

The Church of San Biagio, the town's parish church, is documented at least until the 14th century, when it is listed as one of the seven branch churches of the Parish Church of San Giustino. It subsequently had the title of priory and was mastered by the Medici of Florence. The church still retains the original Romanesque structure, although altered by the transformations of the 19th-20th century, while inside, behind the altar, there is a panel of the Crucifixion by Sister Plautilla Nelli.

Tuscany (/ˈtʌskəni/ TUSK-ə-neeItalianToscana [tosˈkaːna]) is a region in central Italy with an area of about 23,000 square kilometres (8,900 square miles) and a population of about 3.8 million inhabitants. The regional capital is Florence (Firenze).

Tuscany is known for its landscapes, history, artistic legacy, and its influence on high culture. It is regarded as the birthplace of the Italian Renaissance[5] and has been home to many figures influential in the history of art and science, and contains well-known museums such as the Uffizi and the Pitti Palace. Tuscany is also known for its wines, including ChiantiVino Nobile di MontepulcianoMorellino di ScansanoBrunello di Montalcino and white Vernaccia di San Gimignano. Having a strong linguistic and cultural identity, it is sometimes considered "a nation within a nation".

Tuscany is a popular destination in Italy. The main tourist spots are FlorencePisaCastiglione della PescaiaGrosseto and Siena. The town of Castiglione della Pescaia is the most visited seaside destination in the region, with seaside tourism accounting for approximately 40% of tourist arrivals. Additionally, the Maremma regionSienaLucca, the Chianti regionVersilia and Val d'Orcia are also internationally renowned and particularly popular spots among travellers.

Seven Tuscan localities have been designated World Heritage Sites: the historic centre of Florence (1982); the Cathedral square of Pisa (1987); the historical centre of San Gimignano (1990); the historical centre of Siena (1995); the historical centre of Pienza (1996); the Val d'Orcia (2004), and the Medici Villas and Gardens (2013). Tuscany has over 120 protected nature reserves, making Tuscany and its capital Florence popular tourist destinations that attract millions of tourists every year. In 2012, the city of Florence was the world's 89th most visited city, with 1.834 million arrivals.

Roughly triangular in shape, Tuscany borders the regions of Liguria to the northwest, Emilia-Romagna to the north, Marche to the northeast, Umbria to the east and Lazio to the southeast. The comune (municipality) of Badia Tedalda, in the Tuscan Province of Arezzo, has an exclave named Ca' Raffaello within Emilia-Romagna.

Tuscany has a western coastline on the Ligurian Sea and the Tyrrhenian Sea, among which is the Tuscan Archipelago, of which the largest island is Elba. Tuscany has an area of approximately 22,993 square kilometres (8,878 sq mi). Surrounded and crossed by major mountain chains, and with few (but fertile) plains, the region has a relief that is dominated by hilly country used for agriculture. Hills make up nearly two-thirds (66.5%) of the region's total area, covering 15,292 square kilometres (5,904 sq mi), and mountains (of which the highest are the Apennines), a further 25%, or 5,770 square kilometres (2,230 sq mi). Plains occupy 8.4% of the total area—1,930 square kilometres (750 sq mi)—mostly around the valley of the Arno. Many of Tuscany's largest cities lie on the banks of the Arno, including the capital FlorenceEmpoli and Pisa.

The climate is fairly mild in the coastal areas, and is harsher and rainy in the interior, with considerable fluctuations in temperature between winter and summer, giving the region a soil-building active freeze-thaw cycle, in part accounting for the region's once having served as a key breadbasket of ancient Rome.
