Are you searching for a Wedding or Event photographer in Grand Luce Castle?
I have been covering over 170 Weddings since July 2014, I can say that I am full of advice and help for your big day.
My couples are similar and so different at the same time. I would say that they have certain similar characteristics, they prefer to spend time with their families and friends rather than spending an hour taking the couple photos, they are usually shy, they don’t feel at ease to be the center of the attention, they have a certain knowledge about art, sometimes photography and painting.
Do you want to have an intimate wedding in Grand Luce Castle that reflects your journey as a couple, your passions, and your spirit of adventure?
This is elopement photography for couples who want to ignore tradition and get married in a way that feels authentic to them. As a photographer, my purpose is to discreetly capture the story of your day in an honest and heartfelt way, without posing or intruding. I will record every aspect, from the raw emotions and poignant moments as they unfold, to the details you won’t want to forget.
I care deeply about creating meaningful connections with every couple who invites me to be a part of their journey. My approach is to innovate, not to conform to conventions. Your elopement experience should be as personal, genuine, and unique as you are.
Emotional Photographer documenting emotional Weddings.
Since July 2014, I document your intimate wedding, your Minimony, Sequel Wedding, Micro wedding or Adventurous Elopement, proposal, and engagement and I have seen a lot of love stories, full of joy and emotions. It has a lot of different names but only the story matters. I am moved by telling the story of your day in the most natural and genuine way possible. No need to spend one hour behind the church with me to take the couple photographs, I will always value letting you spend time with family and friends. This is your day, not mine.
Most of my couples define themselves as shy in front of the camera, I believe simply they don’t know how easy it is to spend a few simple moments with their partner in front of my camera. I will follow you from getting ready to the dance floor in the most natural way possible. To deliver a poetic and unique vision of the most important day of your life.
I have a lot of experience and expertise in traveling around Europe mostly. For the last 6 years, I have covered most of my weddings abroad and overseas.
I believe I can help you with my experience and advice for a perfect wedding day. A bit of History about Draguignan, frejus, Grand Luce Castle.
Le Grand-Lucé is a commune in the Sarthe department in the region of Pays de la Loire in north-western France.
Lucé-au-Maine is mentioned from 1039 among the feudal mottes built by the Baron of Château-du-Loir. Guy de Lucé (1227-1281) is Lord of Lucé. François I erected Lucé as a barony in 1539.
Among the seigniorial families, the d'Eschelles had Lucé since the end of the 13th century with Pierre Ier (fl. 1280/1281), whose granddaughter Marie († around 1406) married in 1370 Brisegaud de Coësmes / Couesme (around 1340 -1410). Succession: their son Charles Ier de Couesme de Lucé, born around 1370, married Marguerite de Maulévrier, from where Charles II de Couesme (1390 / 1392-1466), husband of Marguerite daughter of Jean III de Rieux (around 1400-1445) ; their son François de Couesme (1424-1494), wife Jeanne, † 1494, daughter of Antoine Turpin de Crissé: hence François / Nicolas de Couesme (around 1450-1508), counselor-chamberlain to Louis XI, husband of Madeleine de Chourses de Malicorne, who rebuilt the castle around 1455; their son Charles III de Couesme, † 1543, was the husband of Jeanne then Gabrielle d'Harcourt (two daughters of François d'Harcourt de Bonnétable), who brought him Bonnétable.
The son of Charles III and Gabrielle d'Harcourt, Louis de Coësmes lord of Lucé-au-Maine and Bonnétable, married around 1555 Anne de Pisseleu (daughter of Adrien and niece of Anne), hence Jean de Coesme ( c. 1555-1574 / 1575; first husband in 1573 of Françoise de Maridor, the Lady of Monsoreau), and her sister Jeanne de Coesme (c. 1554 / 1560-1601), lady of Lucé and Bonnétable, wife in 1574 of Louis / Ludovic de Montafié, Piedmontese lord, count of Montafié and Carignan. Their daughter Anne de Montafié (1577-1644) married in 1601 with Charles de Bourbon-Soissons, hence the Savoie-Carignans and the Albert dukes of Luynes and Chevreuse.
Then there were sales; thus, are indicated as lords of Lucé: Michel II de / du G (u) ast (born around 1550; known as lord of Montgaug (i) er and of Lucé-au-Maine in 1614, governor of Amboise, married in 1589 to Antoinette, daughter of Pierre de Montmorency-Fosseux and sister of La Belle Fosseuse; her son Roger de Gast was said to be Lord of Lucé and Montgauger in 1617, Marquis de Montgoger in 1623); Dangeau (1638-1720) in 1702; then the Pineau de Viennay.
From 1761 to 1764, Jacques Pineau de Viennay ordered the razing of the stately homes and the construction of a new castle. In 1781, a fire destroyed the village almost entirely. The inhabitants take refuge in the courtyards and annexes of the spared castle. In 1871, the mayor obtains from the Prussians that they do not attack the army of the Loire in retreat and arrested in Grand-Lucé. The fight will take place at Tertre Rouge in Le Mans.
Adélaide, daughter of Jacques Pineau de Viennay, marries on April 17, 1776 François Achard Joumart Tison d'Argence, Lord of Dirac and Monceau, and gives him two children Claude François Achard Joumart Tison d'Argence and Frédéric François Achard Joumart Tison d ' Argence, both born at the Château du Grand-Lucé. They are related to the families of Baron Le Vavasseur, Quemper de Lanascol, Guilbourgère, Polignac, Kerouartz, Kermel, Bouys de la Bégassière, Villéon, Raquet, La Chapelle and Cressol).
It was by following his advancement by correspondence, from Alsace where he was governor, that Jacques Pineau de Viennay, had the Château du Grand-Lucé built. He went to the end of his work in the main courtyard where he was struck with a devastating heart attack. The castle remained in the family of the Marquis d'Argence until 1920 when the castle was sold to the Vicomte d'Avenel (1855-1939). His daughter Madeleine d'Avenel (1910-1984) married Prince Éric de Broglie (1904-1956) in 1933.
The castle was sold around 1939 to a property merchant who divided up the property by exploiting the forest park. During the German occupation, a senior officer who lived in the castle warned the French authorities of the disaster. The prefect intervened to stop the operations. Then at the Liberation the castle was transformed into a military hospital for the Allies. The American army ceded the castle to the city for the creation of a sanatorium, then the Georges-Coulon foundation settled there in 1955. The castle a few years later was transformed into a cure house. This property, becoming a constant charge for the municipality of Grand-Lucé, was ceded to the General Council of Sarthe. Huge works were undertaken, gardens, roofs, joinery. The general council decided, after having invested very large sums, to resell the castle of Grand-Lucé to a rich American, a great interior designer, Timothy Corrigan4 of Los Angeles. This has since transformed it into a veritable setting "of the Age of Enlightenment": the castle finally regains the splendor of the heyday of the Pineau de Viennay de Lucé families and the Marquis d'Argence.
