I would say that they have certain similar characteristics, they prefer to spend time with their families and friends rather than spending an hour taking the couple photos, they are usually shy, they don’t feel at ease to be the center of the attention, they have a certain knowledge about art, sometimes photography and painting.

Since July 2014, I document your intimate wedding, your Minimony, Sequel Wedding, Micro wedding or Adventurous Elopement, proposal, and engagement and I have seen a lot of love stories, full of joy and emotions. It has a lot of different names but only the story matters. I am moved by telling the story of your day in the most natural and genuine way possible. No need to spend one hour behind the church with me to take the couple photographs, I will always value to let you spend time with family and friends. This is your day, not mine.

Most of my couples define themselves as shy in front of the camera, I believe simply they don’t know how easy it is to spend a few simple moments with their partner in front of my camera. I will follow you from getting ready to the dance floor in the most natural way possible. To deliver a poetic and unique vision of the most important day of your life.
I have a lot of experience and expertise in traveling around Europe mostly. For the last 6 years, I have covered most of my weddings abroad and overseas.

I believe I can help you with my experience and advice for a perfect wedding day. A bit of History about Calvi, Corsica.

Calvi (/ˈkælviː/, French: [kalvi], Corsican: [ˈkalvi]) is a commune in the Haute-Corse department of France on the island of Corsica.

It is the seat of the Canton of Calvi, which contains Calvi and one other commune, Lumio. Calvi is also the capital of the Arrondissement of Calvi, which contains, besides the Canton of Calvi, three other cantons: L'Île-Rousse, Belgodère, and Calenzana.

The 2nd Foreign Parachute Regiment (2ème REP) of the French Foreign Legion is based in the citadel of Calvi.

According to legend, Christopher Columbus supposedly came from Calvi, which at the time was part of the Genoese Empire. Because the often subversive elements of the island gave its inhabitants a bad reputation, he would have been expected to mask his exact birthplace.

Calvi is a French commune, located in the departmental district of Haute-Corse and the territory of the community of Corsica. Built in the gulf of the same name, it is located in the northwest of the island and together with Île-Rousse is one of the two major agglomerations of Balagne.

Located at the north-western end of the island, facing the coast of the Côte d'Azur, enjoying favorable climatic conditions and in a beautiful environment, the small town of Calvi occupies a privileged position in Corsica. Calvi became the economic and tourist capital of the Balagne and the city is now one of the two tourist hubs of the Corsica region, the other being Porto-Vecchio.

The commune is located in crystalline western CorsicaNote 2 pre-Hercynian and Hercynian, "long known as the Land of Beyond the Mountains" . Its soil, made by intrusions from Calvi and Porto Agro, is composed of sub-alkaline granite, formed mostly by a vast batholite (formed between -340 and -240 Ma), from a carboniferous plutonic cycle. This magmatism, probably related to the formation of the Hercynian chain (syn-orogenic), gave rise to leucogranites (white Calvi granites) .

Bordered on the west by the territory of the municipality of Lumio and on the south by that of Calenzana, the municipal territory, which is bathed by the Mediterranean Sea, includes a wide seafront.

To the north, the Gulf of Calvi (Calvi Bay in tourist guides), is bounded on the east by Punta Caldanu (presence of a ruined Genoese tower) and on the west by Punta San Francescu. It bathes the long beach of La Pinède, the marinas and commerce as well as the Citadel built by the water.

To the west, the Gulf of Revellata between Punta San Francescu (St. Francis Point) and the Revellata Peninsula at the tip of which is a major lighthouse. The relatively sheltered gulf of the prevailing westerly winds serves as a mooring for boaters in the fine season. It is also used by pilots of water bombers (Canadair aircraft and Skycrane CH-54 helicopters) to scoop up and pump water during firefighting, which is common in late summer on the island.

Finally to the south, to the bay of Nichiareto (Calenzana), just before Capo Cavallo and its traffic light dormant since 1987, it is a wild coastline, a shredded and inhospitable coast.

Between the plain of the Figarella and the western coast, there is a link of the mountain range of the Argentella massif located further south, in the municipality of Calenzana. On Capu di a Veta (703 meters) the highest peak, an iron cross was erected in 1964 by members of the Austrian Alpine Club (the club is located at the entrance to the town) . Three other crosses have succeeded him5, the last one, weighing 830 kg, having been installed in 2012 with the help of a helicopter. To the north, dominating the city from the height of its 218 meters, were built the chapel of Notre-Dame-de-la-Serra and a cemetery.

Calvi enjoys a Mediterranean climate with mild, humid winters and hot, dry summers.

Due to its location, the commune as well as the entire Balagne region are subject to offshore winds. It rains lightly, which explains the summer drought and the large fires that follow each year (37 days a year with rain> 5 mm). Its mild climate, its blond beaches, the highest mountain range in Corsica that surrounds it, its proud citadel, its historical past, its ports and its international airport are the major assets of its expansion.

The average altitude of the commune is quite low, at 81 m; the dry summer climate and flora are of the Mediterranean type.

On the thermo-Mediterranean floor, from 1 to 100 m above sea level, the dry summer season of two to three months favors wild olive trees, white asparagus, lentils, tree euphorbia, clematis, etc. . Above, the Meso-Mediterranean stage (from 100 to 1,000 m in altitude at the adrets, from 0 to 700 m at the ubacs), is characterized mainly by green oak, heather and arbutus scrub but also by cork oak and maritime pine (adret), pubescent oak (ubac), chestnut or lavender, thorny broom, cysts and lentisk6.

Note, on the site of the 1st Shock Battalion and near the station, the presence of a curious plant, the Phytolacca dioica or Belombra, a tree native to the Argentine Pampas and introduced to Corsica in the mid-nineteenth century.
